Bahia State Government announce the construction of a 550Km highway from Itaparica Island to Porto Seguro

As for highways, the Bahia government is planning to launch a concession that comprises the widening of a 900km stretch between the Salvador-Itaparica bridge and the city of Luis Eduardo Magalhães and another concession that entails the construction of a 550km highway, connecting the cities of Itaparica and Porto Seguro.

Itaparica Island was a magnet for the wealthy back in the 1970s and is currently in huge demand in its real estate sector.
Record low interest rates and a 12km road Bridge is transforming this island.
The island boast exceptional scenic natural beauty coupled with stunning beaches and a relaxed party atmosphere – Itaparica is confirmed to attract more investment in its infrastructure, this has awakened the interest of international real estate investors, this new 12Km road bridge, linking Itaparica with the capital Salvador City and now plans for a 550km highway to Porto Seguro opens up new avenues for all classes of investors
